Elliot's Mazda Rx8
The Mazda Rx8; a car no one seems to like… Its infamous 1.3 Wankle engine has given the car a bad rep over the years but that never put Elliot off of buying one.
Elliot bought the car stock in 2016 but has since transformed the look of it.
Painted in Midnight blackfrom factory, Elliot has had a full Stage 3 Paint Restoration on the car to bring it back to life.
The car has been lowered on Tein coilovers and the arches have been rolled to fit 3SDM 0.01 alloys closely inside. The wheels are painted in a Gunmetal grey and finished in a custom multicolour fleck.
The standard front plate, that covered the front grill has been swapped for a smaller plate that sits to the side of the bumper, whilst the rear plate is now a gel carbon effect. The interior and exterior lights have been converted to LEDs and the rear badges have been removed for a cleaner look. The front page has been sprayed gold black, along with the front splitter and side vents. The rear diffuser has been colour coded to the rest of the car and the fog lights (front and back), brake light and side repeaters have been sprayed with a black tint to give the car a sleeker look. The rear windows have also been tinted.
A ducktail spoiler has replaced the original lip spoiler to give it a fatter backend. Wind deflectors, carbon fibre eyebrows and wrapped carbon sunroof bar and door panels give the car a sportier look.
To back up the cars stock 230bhp, Elliot has put a Toyo Sport exhaust onto the car, to give it that extra roar.
The engine bay plastics have all been sprayed in grey primer and lacquered over, whilst the callipers are sprayed bright yellow. Finally a black sparkle Low-set Crew sticker has been added to the rear window which reflects multicolour fleck when the sun hits it, to match the wheels and a black Low-set Crew sunstrip has been added across the front window.
